The Book Club

Description

Spread over two spacious floors of a former Victorian warehouse on Leonard Street, The Book Club is a Shoreditch bar & club serving up cocktails, beers on tap and local DJs. She's iconic for her outrageous parties and dirty basement club nights.

The ground floor of the venue has recently been given a distinctly fresh overhaul – with an incredible new Brooklyn-style loft feel and a newfound look. And then downstairs, an iconic smoky basement space with a secret room just off the back of it. Some say the venue has a cosy second-home feel, especially as she features constantly evolving exhibitions that adorn the walls.

Looking for a night out with a playful twist? The Book Club has you covered with a stellar line-up of games to keep the good times going. Challenge your mates to a round of Ping Pong, Darts, Pool, Shuffleboard or Foosball – perfect for everything from casual catch-ups to competitive showdowns. Whether you're in it to win or just in it for the laughs, there’s something for everyone.

Currently open Wednesdays-Saturdays, the venue offers up some juicy days / nights:

Wednesdays: 2-4-1 on All Drinks. Work hard, play hard. Grab 2-4-1 on all drinks, all night. Pints, cocktails, sprits...the lot. It's double the fun.

Thursdays: G&T Social Club - £5 double Gin and Tonics all night

Fridays: Beat the Bartender. Feeling lucky? Roll the dice and take on the bartender - win, and your round's on us. Soak up the sounds of our DJs spinning vinyl all night, setting the vibe with funk, soul and world grooves.

Wednesdays - Fridays: We host a Pizza Supper Club with our mates from Pizza From Another Place. Two courses and a drink for £20. No brainer.

If you don't fancy any of the above then why not pop in for a cocktail or three, and maybe one of our juicy pizzas (rated no.5 best slice in London by Elle Mag). The staff would love to see you <3

The Book Club London - DJ Bar Review

Tucked away in the lively heart of East London, The Book Club is not the standard trendy Shoreditch bar. With a vast programme of forward-thinking events, including exhibitions, club nights, video game parties, film screenings and ping-pong tournaments, this is a unique spot in London, so I headed down…
